PERSONAL & SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING

Hi I'm Amy, co-founder of BASE and Personal Trainer here in Dorset.

Private (1:1) and Semi-Private (2:1) training is the most beneficial way of optimising your functional movement, balance, mobility and strength..

Technique, controlled movement and posture are key focus points of mine - ensuring we build core strength and reduce the chance of injury during exercise, as well as during your daily activities. This focused approach of training results in my clients achieving AND maintain a more pain-free life and measurable progression in their fitness ability, balance, coordination, strength and body composition.

Moving your body should be a safe and fun experience, with zero judgement and no 'one-size-fits-all' approach. My ethos as a trainer is to empower every single one of my clients to challenge their bodies and embrace what their magnificent bodies are capable of, no matter what barriers they may face.

Having experienced numerous injuries through incorrect training in my 20's which have had huge and lifelong knock on effects to my body and abilities, I know first hand what it is like to experience set-back, chronic pain, surgical procedures, rehabilitation and the shift in mindset that is necessary to move forward with a sense of empowerment and belonging in my body. As challenging as this has been for me personally, I know this makes me an exceptional and skillful trainer whom my clients trust with their bodies and minds, and who gets results in a sustainable and safe way.

Training with me is fun, upbeat and engaging. No session is the same and you can expect to use a variety of equipment and exercise disciplines.
