All clients - please be aware of the following requirements:

Where to find BASE SPACE Studio in Parkstone & Parking:

  • 1 Victoria Road, Parkstone, Poole BH12 3BA. 

  • The entrance to BASE SPACE is at the rear of the Total Therapy building.

  • We do not have a car park, so please find free parking on surrounding roads or we advise you to park in Waitrose car park (free for 2 hours) which is just a couple of minutes’ walk away.

 

Outdoor BaseCamps & BaseBaby classes:

  • Please see our contacts page for location information.

 

What to bring with you:

  • Please wear comfortable sportswear, trainers and for studio sessions please wear socks (grippy if possible)

  • Please bring your own yoga mat and a bottle of water.

Arrival at the studio: 

  • We LOVE that so many of you are keen to come in and get started on arrival. If attending our BASE SPACE Studio we have a lovely seating area on the first floor hallway landing so please take a seat there and we will come and welcome you inside at the start of your session. If you are early for your session or you see that we aren’t with clients, please do still wait in the hallway – we have very minimal time between clients and we cherish these moments of downtime to catch up on work as well as having a little break ourselves – so that we can bring our A-Game to your session!

What to do if you are unwell: 

  • We love your commitment to exercise, but if you are unwell please do not attend your session in person with us. We are a small indipendent business and we work closely with vulnerable individuals. If you attend a session unwell we have full discretion to ask you to leave, and your session cost will still be deducted.

Personal Belongings: 

  • Your personal belongings are your own responsibility. If attending BASE SPACE Studio, please leave your coats and shoes in the hallway where you will find wall hooks and under bench cubes for shoes. This will prevent the studio from getting muddy and slippy. Of course bring bags or precious items in with you -we have the white cubes for you to pop those into.

Children:

  • Unless you are attending a specific BASE Baby class, children are not allowed to any class or 1:1 / 2:1 session. Please be aware that our BASE SPACE Studio waiting area is also not appropriate for children or teens, so please do not bring them with you to wait outside.

Private Clients

"Private Clients" are any single person, or people who are training with us on a 1:1 / 2:1 basis, as well as the organiser and participants of any private group classes whether that be a social or corporate group.

Payment:

  • Payment must be made in advance of any session. If payment has not been received prior to the session, the session will be cancelled. For any 2:1 or private group classes, payment in whole must be paid to BASE. We will not accept individual payments from participants.

 

Cancellation with less than 24 hours' written notice: 

  • We do of course understand that sometimes very last minute cancellation have to be made - we will be as flexible as possible under these individual circumstances but please do note that there is a cancellation fee where 24 hours’ notice is not given (the deduction of one of your pre-paid sessions). ​​

 

Cancellation with more than 24 hours’ notice: 

  • We will always find another time slot to see you, so that you won’t miss out on a workout.

 

Cancellations by BASE: 

  • Should BASE instructors need to cancel, we will contact you as soon as possible and organise a replacement session / class.

What to do if you are unwell: 

  • We love your commitment to exercise(!) but if you are unwell please do not attend your session in person with us. We are a small indipendent business and we work closely with vulnerable individuals. Please just get in touch with us ASAP and we can provide you with alternative options such as holding your session outside, on zoom or rescheduling. If you attend a session unwell we have full discretion to ask you to leave, and your session will still be deducted from you pack.

Lateness:

  • If you are running late for your session please let us know. We will be unable to extend your session past your scheduled time, but we will of course welcome you as soon as you are able to get to us.

CLASSES

Payment:

  • Payment must be made in advance of any session. All class bookings must be made through our website / TeamUp booking system and paid for online. We do not accept cash.

 

  • Each of our class packs have an expiry date which is clearly detailed in the terms of each of those class packs. Class packs are not extendable or transferable, therefore if you are unable to use all of your sessions in the pack before the pack expiry date, BASE will not refund you. So please bear in mind when making your purchase whether a class pack or single class pass is more appropriate for your needs.

Class Booking & Cancellation:

  • You must register for all classes you wish to attend by visiting our Timetable page on our website or our Schedule page on our TeamUp boking system. Once you have bought your class pass or your class pack this does not mean you have booked onto a class - you must book onto the class separately.

  • You are able to book onto any class up to 30 days prior to the class date and no less than 2 hours prior to the class start time. You may also cancel anytime within the 30 days prior to the class and up to 2 hours before the class start time. For any cancellations made less than 2 hours prior to the class start time, the full 100% class cost will be deducted from your class pass / class pack.

What to do if you are unwell: 

  • We love your commitment to exercise(!) but if you are unwell please do not attend your session in person with us. We are a small indipendent business and we work closely with vulnerable individuals. If you attend a session unwell we have full discretion to ask you to leave, and your session will still be deducted from you pack.

​

Lateness:

  • If you are running late for your session we will allow you into a class no later than 5 minutes after the class start time. 

​
